मथुरा के थाना गोविंद नगर क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत मसानी लिंक रोड स्थित नमकीन के गोदाम में बीती रात भयानक आग लग गई। इस भीषण अग्निकांड में गोदाम में रखा नमकीन का स्टॉक व अन्य समान पूरी तरह जलकर नष्ट हो गया।
गोदाम के बाहर कुछ परदेसी सोए हुए थे जिन्हें आग लगने का आभास हुआ। इस स्थिति में उन्होंने बगल में रहने वाले व्यक्ति का दरवाजा खटखटाया लेकिन उनके पास गोदाम स्वामी या किरायेदार जकरिया हुसैन का नंबर नहीं था। इसके बाद गोदाम के ठीक पीछे रहने वाले नेशनल ट्रांसपोर्ट के स्वामी अविरल बंसल से संपर्क किया गया उन्होंने गोदाम के मालिक दीपक राजपूत को आग लगने की सूचना दी जिसके बाद दीपक राजपूत ने अपने गोदाम के किरायेदार हल्दीराम नमकीन के डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर जकरिया हुसैन को इस घटना की जानकारी दी।
हालांकि इस बीच नेशनल ट्रांसपोर्ट के स्वामी द्वारा थाना गोविंद नगर पुलिस और फायर ब्रिगेड को आग लगने की घटना की सूचना दी जा चुकी थी।
घटना की सूचना पर मौके पर पहुंची फायर ब्रिगेड और पुलिस की टीम के लिए गोदाम का ताला तोड़ना बेहद जरूरी था। ऐसी स्थिति में मोबाइल के जरिए वीडियो बनाकर गोदाम का ताला तोड़ने के बाद फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम ने कड़ी मशक्कत करते हुए आग पर काबू पाया लेकिन तब तक गोदाम में रखी हुई नमकीन की 7000 पेटियां व अन्य सामान जलकर नष्ट हो चुका था।
जकरिया हुसैन ने बताया कि इस अग्निकांड में उन्हें करीब एक करोड़ रुपए का नुकसान हुआ है हालांकि उनका कहना था कि गोदाम में रखे हुए माल का बीमा था।

Some foreigners were sleeping outside the warehouse and realized that there was a fire. In this situation, he knocked on the door of the person living next door but he did not have the number of the warehouse owner or tenant Zakaria Hussain. After this, Aviral Bansal, owner of National Transport, who lives just behind the warehouse, was contacted. He informed the warehouse owner Deepak Rajput about the fire, after which Deepak Rajput informed the incident to his warehouse tenant, Haldiram Namkeen distributor Zakaria Hussain.
However, in the meantime, the owner of National Transport had informed the Govind Nagar police station and the fire brigade about the fire incident.
It was extremely important for the fire brigade and police team that reached the spot on receiving information about the incident to break the lock of the warehouse.In such a situation, after breaking the lock of the godown by making a video through mobile, the fire brigade team tried hard to control the fire, but by then 7000 boxes of snacks and other items kept in the godown had been burnt and destroyed.
Zakaria Hussain said that he suffered a loss of about one crore rupees in this fire, although he said that the goods kept in the warehouse were insured.
